The competency of teamwork
Cooperative Learning is a methodology based on students working as a team to achieve common goals and helps foster social skills, digital skills and boost motivation..

Through Colegio San Cristóbal’s Cooperative Learning, students develop skills and abilities by working in small, diverse groups, collaborating in a coordinated way to achieve the educational objectives that have been set both individually and collectively.
Interpersonal and Group Skills
To improve group organisation, specific roles are assigned with distinct responsibilities, and strategies and constructive mechanisms are established to guide decision-making. Students must communicate, resolve conflicts, make decisions, support each other.
Face-to-Face interaction
Group physical interaction fosters the development of social skills. The work reflects both individual and collective effort, grounded in personal commitment and respect for others.
Positive Interdependence
Each member of the group’s individual efforts benefit themselves as well as the rest of the group. This fosters a commitment to supporting the success of others alongside one’s own. There is no cooperation without positive interdependence.
Individual and Group Responsibility
Full commitment from all group members is essential when it comes to taking responsibility for achieving both group and individual objectives, which have been previously agreed upon and set out.
Group Evaluation
The goal is to avoid competitiveness in the classroom and encourage cooperation, which is why group evaluation is emphasised, ensuring that all members are committed to the shared objective. In this regard, it is important to make decisions regardingactions for improvement and working relationships based on respect and honesty.
