Learn to Learn
Project-based learning (PBL) is an active methodology that enables students to acquire knowledge and key skills in the 21st century by working on collaborative projects that respond to real-life problems. Students take an active role in their own learning, developing their autonomy and responsibility as they are entrusted with planning and organising their work and coming up with the final product to address the question posed. The teacher's job is to guide and support them throughout the process.
Through Project-Based Learning (PBL) at Colegio San Cristóbal, students engage with real-life problems that give purpose to the teaching–learning process, as they address questions, challenges and situations by drawing on their own resources, reflection, research, cooperation and knowledge.
Communication and Collaboration
Students develop communication and social skills by working cooperatively, reflecting on each step of the process, and structuring the project they will present, while respecting diverse individual perspectives in pursuit of a common goal.
Critical Thinking
They develop the ability to think autonomously and constructively by analysing information, making decisions and respectfully defending their point of view.
Technology
Digital competence plays a key role in research, development and project work. The correct, safe and responsible use thereof is fostered, and clear criteria are established to distinguish reliable sources of information.
