At Colegio Internacional San Cristóbal, the Spanish Baccalaureate (Bachillerato) offers two tracks to suit each student’s profile and prepare them for the PAU, the Spanish university entrance exam, and for university and other higher education. It follows the way the whole school works: a personal tutor, academic counselling and study habits.

Two tracks to suit each student’s profile

Each track combines core subjects, track-specific subjects and electives, following the Valencian curriculum. The Counselling Department helps students choose their subjects according to what they want to study afterwards.

Science and Technology

For students considering engineering, architecture, health sciences or the natural sciences, and higher vocational programmes in these fields.
Humanities and Social Sciences

For students interested in law, economics and business, education, communication or the humanities, and higher vocational programmes in these fields.

After the Baccalaureate

Ready to choose their future

The Spanish Bachiller qualification gives access to university, through the PAU, and also to higher arts education, higher vocational training, higher-level art and design programmes and higher-level sports education.

The PAU and university

The entrance grade combines the Baccalaureate average (60%) and the compulsory part of the PAU (40%). Subjects in the optional part can raise the admission grade to a maximum of 14 points.

Academic and career counselling

The Counselling Department helps each student decide what to study and choose the subjects that best prepare them for it.

Higher vocational training

The Spanish Bachiller qualification gives direct access to higher vocational programmes, such as those at FP San Cristóbal (in Spanish).

Both options prepare students for university. The choice depends more on the student than on their grades: on how they like to work and where they want to study afterwards.
